Sabarimala temple in Kerala which has crores of pilgrims visiting it,has a standing rule banning women in the age group of 10 to 50 years from entering into the temple. A case was filed in the year 2006 challenging this rule.Meanwhile, when the case came for hearing on July 18th, the court has observed that denying entry to women is against Constitutional rights and had asked for a valid reason.
