Hakim, along with four others, was arrested for ransacking the liquor shop, which was near Ukkadam bus stand and also in a residential area. Their demand was to close it in 2010. He was let out on bail following an arrest.
Meanwhile, he was arrested in connection with the bomb blast case in BJP office in Malleswaram in Bengaluru in 2013 and was lodged in the Central Jail there.
Hakim was brought this afternoon, with Karnataka police escort and produced before 2nd Additional Sub-judge, Umarani, who posted the case for November 5.
Later, the accused was taken back to Bengaluru.
