Minister SP Velumani who inaugurated the farmers expo conducted by Sugarcane Breeding society at the CODISSIA grounds, stressed the importance of using less chemical fertilizers and asked the sugarcane researchers to work on finding methods to harvest more sugarcane with less water usage.
