Isha Gramotsavam kabaddi tournament from Nov 10

Coimbatore : A total 27,000 players representing 2,250 teams are expected to participate in kabaddi tournament being organised from November 10 as part of Isha Gramotsavam celebrations.
Action for Rural Rejuvenation and Tamil Nadu Amaeture Kabadi Association are organising the event to be conducted in district, zonal and state levels.
The district level tournaments will be on November 10, 11, 17 and 18 in all the 32 districts of the State. The state-level matches will be on December 8 and 9.
Gramotsavam is a celebration of village life showcasing the essence of rural Tamil Nadu through an elaborate display of rural games, art, drama, dance and music.
The festival is part of Action for Rural Rejuvenation (ARR), a rural revitalisation programme under the aegis of Isha Foundation.
The 14th Isha Gramotsavam celebrations commenced on October 20 and, will continue til December.
