Ooty : Kowsalya, a victim of honour killing, was on Friday placed under suspension from a defende organisation in nearby Coonoor, where she was working as an junior assistant, reportedly for speaking against Indian Constitution and Sovereignty.

The order of suspension was served on Kowsalya in her house near Udumalpet in Tirupur district, official sources said.

In an interview to a foreign television news channel, Kowsalya reportedly said that she did not believe in India and its constitution, as it neglected Tamil Nadu in all fronts.

India is forcing the projects like Sterlite, Methane, Neutrino against the wishes of the people and she did not feel like an Indian.

Ambedkar has termed India as Union, but India is not behaving like one and is treating Tamil Nadu as different entity , she told the Channel.

Kowsalya was working in Wellington Contonment, a defense organisation as a junior assistant.

Her husband, Shankar was the target of honour killing by Kowsalya’s parents and relatives, two years ago. Kowsalya had married a parai artist a month ago. She was also criticized after a supposed telephone conversation with a trans woman, who had blamed her husband of abuse, had gone viral.
