Toddy movement to field candidate in Tirupur

Coimbatore :Tamil Nadu Toddy Movement (TTM) has decided to field a candidate in Tirupur Lok Sabha constituency.
Since majority of the parties are deciding to fight elections by forming alliance and throwing their identify and ideology to the winds, the movement is fielding L Kathiresan as "candidate with principle,TTM Coordinator, S Nallasami said in a release Sunday.
Stating that these parties were after power and money and ready to bribe the voters, a trend for the last two decades, Nallasami said that this has turned as a major disaster to the Indian democracy.
The movement is contesting the election to create awareness to the people on the real value of freedom, as Tirupur has the population from different States of India, Nallasami said.
