Chief Minister,Edapadi K Palanisamy Thursday paid floral homage to the body of AIADMK Sulur MLA,R Kanagaraj,who died early morning following a massive heart attack.

Palanisamy,along with Deputy chief minister,O Panaeerselvam arrived at Kanagaraj’s house in Sultanpet,where the body is kept for the public to pay homage.

After laying a big garland on the body,Palanisamy said that the sudden demise of Kanagaraj was a great loss to the party and also to the people of his constituency,with whom he had maintained a healthy and close relationship.

Both Palanisamy and Paneerselvam expressed his deepest condolences to the family members and relatives.

Municipal Administration Minister,S P Velumani,Deputy speaker Pollachi V Jayaraman and a few ministers and MLAs were also present.

Meanwhile,Coir Board chairman C P Radhakrishnan in a message condoled the death of Kanagaraj.
