Coimbatore : Kavya Varshini, a student of Vidya Nikethan Public School, Coimbatore, secured all-India 3rd rank, scoring 497 out of 500 marks in the CBSE Class X exams, results of which were announced Monday.
Scoring 100 marks in Science, Social Sciences and Maths, Kavya, daughter of a farmer in Peelamedu, scored 99 and 98 marks in Tamil and English.
It was because of the support of her parents and teachers that she could score such high marks, Kavya said.
