Noyyal river, the lifeline of Coimbatore to be desilted at Rs 230 crores.

The state government has proposed to desilt the Noyyal river to ensure that there is no discharge of sewage water into the water body. The project that kick started today at Chithirai Chavadi check dam was inaugurated by the Local Administration Minsiter S.P.Velumani.
