MK Rishivandhyam DMK MLA tests Covid positive and is admitted to a private hospital

Coimbatore : Rishivandhyam DMK MLA Vasantham Karthikeyan was admitted to a private hospital here, as he was tested Covid-19 positive.
According to health department sources, his wife and daughter were tested positive a couple of days ago.
He was asked to quarantine for 14 days., However, after carrying out test, results showed that he was positive and has been admitted to the hospital here, party sources said.
Meanwhile, three employees of a leading jewellery here, which was sealed yesterday, tested positive and shifted to the government hospital.
GRT Jewellery was sealed yesterday for bringing over 30 employees from Chennai without mandatory E-pass a couple of days ago. The shop manager was booked under Disaster Management and Tamil Nadu Epidemic Disease Act.
The health department has tested nearly 100 persons in the jewellery and three results, all arrived from Chennai, tested positive and shifted
to the hospital.
