Union agri minister to visit TN villages to know farmers’ problems

Coimbatore : Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary will visit the villages of Tamil Nadu and meet the farmers to know their problems evolve solutions.

This information was given by Tamil Nadu BJP Agriculture Wing President G K Nagaraj on Tuesday after holding a virtual discussion with Choudhary, along with farmers to update the problems being faced by them.

The minister had stressed the importance of setting up Farmers Produce Organisation (FPO), as the prime minister has set a target of setting up of 10,000 such FPOs during 2020-2022, Nagaraj said.

Choudhary assured to visit the villages of Tamil Nadu and meet the farmers to know their real problems and find solutions, once the pandemic scare is over, he said.
