176 cases reported in Coimbatore

Coimbatore : A total of 176 fresh Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Coimbatore district, taking the active cases till date to 2,359.
Of the total cases,1,022 were discharged and 1,314 were undergoing treatment, with 22 deaths, a State Medical Bulletin said.
In Erode three new cases were reported taking the total to 512, of which 377 were discharged and 127 under treatment.
Salem reported 85 fresh cases taking the tally to 2,459 active cases, of which 1,606 were discharged and 834 undergoing treatment. So
far 28 deaths were reported in Salem.
In Tirupur 34 new cases were reported, including three imported one, and the tally went up to 541 of which 266 were discharged and 270 were under treatment.
