People celebrate his birthday as the cause of River Revitalization, an issue close to Sadhguru’s heart

Political leaders, celebrities, and people from various fields wished the yogi, mystic and visionary, Sadhguru on his birthday on September 3. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri. Basavaraj Bommai, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Union Ministers Shri Nitin Gadkari, Smt Shobha Karandlaje, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri. Kamal Nath and many other central ministers, various state ministers, and political personalities wished Sadhguru.

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, Lyricist Prasoon Joshi, Classical Dancer Sonal Mansingh, Khushbu Sundar, Santhanam, and many others joined in to congratulate Sadhguru on their social media pages.

Not just celebrities, lakhs of people took to Twitter wishing Sadhguru on his birthday. #RiverRevitalizationDay trended top on Twitter, drawing attention to the cause of saving our rivers, an issue Sadhguru is championing ahead with Rally for Rivers and Cauvery Calling.

Sadhguru 30 years ago started Isha Foundation dedicated to raising human consciousness and aiming to bring physical, mental, and spiritual well-being for everyone. Statistics say that more than 100 crore people watch his discourses.

He is a recipient of India’s second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan, for his contributions to social welfare. Lakhs of people have benefited from his vision of social welfare programs such as Action for Rural Rejuvenation and Isha Vidya Rural Schools, which provide high-quality education to rural underprivileged children. Project Green Hands, Rally for Rivers, Cauvery Calling, and Save Soil Movement have addressed ecological causes, while Farmer Producer Organizations and Isha Agro Movement are catering to the social and economic development of the farmers.

Under his guidance, Project Green Hands set the Guinness World Record for planting the highest number of trees in a day. Through Rally for Rivers, Sadhguru led the largest mass-awareness journey across India for revitalizing the rivers and recently undertook a 100-day 30,000 km solo bike ride across 27 nations for the Save Soil movement. Led by him, the Save Soil movement reached over 3.91 billion people with more than 80 nations agreeing to act on saving soil.
