February 24, 2026: “Sadhguru Sri Brahma Educational Scholarship” distribution function for tribal and rural students was held on Sunday at the Suryakund Mandapam at Isha Yoga Center Coimbatore.

Isha Foundation’s educational scholarship has benefited hundreds of students continuously for over 10 years. In line with the same, this year saw more than 40 students, both male and female, from various tribal settlements including Singapathy, Sadivayal, Nallurpadi, Mullangadu, Thanikandi, Madakkadu and Sarkarporathi, as well as villages of Boluvampatti, Alanthurai and Iruttupallam, being awarded educational scholarships by Isha.

Isha Foundation’s educational scholarship identifies and supports tribal and rural students, hindered by economic or family constraints from pursuing higher education. The recipients of this scholarship are studying diverse courses, including B.Com, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Forensic Science, Airport Management, Botany, Chemistry, and English Literature, at over 12 leading colleges such as PSG, Ramakrishna, VLB Janakiammal, Kalcaimagal, and Avinashilingam.

Beyond scholarships, Isha provides these students with free English communication training, software skills, interview preparation, and specialized “Science Spark” programs. Free transportation to schools and colleges is also offered. Many alumni now work as engineers and accountants in IT/multinational firms, nurses in top hospitals, and also at Isha Yoga Center.

The event drew hundreds of participants, including recipients, parents, former scholars now in various organizations, and Isha volunteers. Students shared their emotional experiences, presented cultural performances, and coordinated the entire program themselves.
