The three-day mega property show, “FairPro-Property Expo 2026,” was kick-started at CODISSIA Fair Hall-D here on Friday. It is organized by the Coimbatore chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI-Coimbatore)
Prominent property developers and bankers have set up their stalls in modern ambience, showcasing their projects. Fully developed plots having basic amenities, vasthu compliant apartments, individual villas, premium homes, gated communities and senior homes located at strategic locations are on sale. During the course of the fair exclusive offers are also provided for home buyers. For the discerning buyers who want to personally see the project locations, site visits are being organized from the fair grounds to the projects sites.
Speaking at the inauguration of FairPro’26, President of CREDAI-Coimbatore, Mr. S.R. Aravind Kumar stated that FAIRPRO has become the most sought after annual event for home buyers in the city. Members of CREDAI are not just constructing buildings but are also developing the skyline of the city. CREDAI Coimbatore is very much behind every development happening in the region
In his special address, Mr. Gugan Ilango, President-elect of CREDAI-Tamil Nadu, said that transparency, credibility and responsibility are the hallmarks of CREDAI. Coimbatore region which had around 50 RERA approvals in a year earlier now has 50 approvals within 6 months reflecting the growth of the sector.
The fair was inaugurated by Mrs. Haritha Poornima, General Manager, State Bank of India Network-3. Delivering the inaugural speech Mrs. Poornima said that the fair provides the buyers ample choice to get their dream property. SBI has always been associated with CREDAI and its property fairs all over India.
Pan India, SBI has given Rs 9.85 Trillion as home loans, of which Tamil Nadu alone accounts for Rs 1 Trillion in home loans. She also said that home loan proposals submitted to SBI before 31st August were eligible for concessions with disbursements before 30th Sept. She appealed to homebuyers to make maximum use of the opportunities afforded at the fair.
Earlier, Fairpro-26 Chairman, Mr. P. Karthik Kumar in his speech said that the famed South India’s Manchester, i.e., Coimbatore, has become the hub for IT Services, healthcare services and defence production. Hence, the demand for property is quite substantial.
