Rotary District 3206 Conducts Interact District Assembly

Rotary International District 3206 conducted its Interact District Assembly and DIR Installation for 2026–27 at National Model Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore, on Tuesday, bringing together Interactors, Rotary leaders, educators and distinguished guests from across the district.

The assembly marked the installation of Intr. P. V. Mithun as the District Interact Representative (DIR) for 2026–27 and the induction of the incoming district leadership team, including DDIR Intr. Harshitha J., ushering in a new chapter in the district’s Interact movement.

District Governor Rtn. R. S. Maruti, District Chairman – Youth Service Rtn. Justin Premkumar, District Chairman – Interact Clubs Rtn. PHF. Hendry Amalaraj, Rtn. Chandhrasekar, President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore West, and Rtn. Dr. Balamurugan, President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Saicity and senior diabetologist, participated in the programme.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasised the importance of youth leadership, purposeful service and collaborative action in building stronger communities through Rotary and Interact initiatives.

The assembly also showcased the district’s proposed projects and upcoming initiatives for the 2026–27 Rotary year, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, community engagement and sustainable impact.
