Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor K. Ramasamy today exhorted students to become creators by using their inherent potential.

Students should learn to use their leisure time more effectively and efficiently and engage in constructive activities, Dr. Ramasamy said, while inaugurating the 105th Students’ Club of the University.

The Club has given a platform for students to involve themselves in activities, the Vice-Chancellor said.

Dr. Kowsalya Nathan, Special Consultant (Life Style and Anti-Aging) Apollo Spectra, Chennai, in her address, said that observation, preservation and determination were the
keys to success.

“Academic part is a routine thing for students. They should take special initiatives towards developing various skills for achieving their dream career. For this, participating in various cultural, sports and other club activities is essential and as agricultural students, you should start eco clubs, which is the need of the hour and should act as role models and torch bearers of the society,” she said.

As part of the programme, two magazines, Pozhil and Tatler, prepared by the students, were released by Ms. Kowsalya and were received by the Vice-Chancellor.
