Newborn’s death causes tension at health centre

Tension prevailed at the Primary Health Centre in Podanur, following the death of a newborn baby. Relatives allege that the baby had died due to the negligence of the authorities.
24-year-old Shiba had delivered a male baby around 11 AM today, but the child died soon after birth. The relatives who were waiting at the hospital blamed the authorities for the death of the child, since the delivery was attended by a trainee nurse.
The angry relatives went away only after the health department officials assured them that they will into the issue.
