Woman killed by speeding lorry

A 50-year old woman was killed today, when a lorry hit her, while she waiting for a bus at Nachipalayam on the outskirts.
Kaleeswari, a resident of a village near Madukkarai, was waiting for a bus to go to work, when a speeding lorry hit her. She was thrown at some distance and died on the spot, police said.
The body was sent for post mortem and the driver was detained.
