“As a doctor , the biggest challenge Tamil Nadu faces currently is alcohol. Today we are seeing 4 year old kids drinking, 9th and 10th standard students getting sloshed. At some point of time age of initiation of alcohol was 40 years, this came down 30 and now it is starts as early as 13 years. The easy availability of alcohol is the main reason behind this.”
