One of the cameras set up in the Devarsolai area captured the image of the tiger which reportedly mauled an estate worker to death two days ago.

Soon after the body of the estate worker from Jharkhand was recovered by the forest official, cameras and cages were set to trap the tiger. An extensive search was also carried out to find the animal.

One of the cameras had captured the image of the tiger, which appears to be wounded in its front leg, moving at a very slow pace.

Two more cages were placed on the most likely route of the injured animal to trap it.
