IDP, an educational consultant, organized a seminar for students who wish to visit Australia for further studies. The seminar dealt with topics like eligibility criteria for admissions, and how to apply for scholarship at various universities in Australia.

The seminar was followed by an interactive session with the representatives of various universities from Australia. The students had all their doubts clarified by the representatives. “I’m currently doing my final year Visual Communication. I would like to take up a programme in journalism. I’m attending the seminar to know my options in Australia,” Bharath S said.

Participating Australian institutions included the James Cook University, Kent Institute Australia, RMIT University, Le Cordon Bleu, Australia, and the USQ Sydney Education Centre among a dozen others. “My sister is a past student of Le Cordon Bleu. I would like to enroll for their baking programme. I’m yet to decide if I want to study at their Australia or British campus,” Ashwini Madhavan shared.

The International Development Programme (IDP) is a 45-year-old educational agency with presence all over the country. Every year, the agency sends students who wish to pursue overseas education, to popular study destinations abroad.
