Central govt orders extension of CBI Director Praveen Sood’s tenure for another year
The Indo Tibetan Border Police conducted a flag march in areas under the Sulur Assembly constituency in Coimbatore district today.
27 areas in the constituency have been identified as sensitive zones, prone to violence during the elections. Members of the armed forces, specially brought in from Andhra Pradesh, carried out a flag march through main area to create awareness among the people to reassure them of free and fair poll.
Police forces from the nearby Karumathampatti also participated in the exercise.
