Former Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot today accused BJP-led Government of deliberately attempting to spoil the names of Congress president, Sonia Gandhi and Vice President, Rahul Gandhi, by raising the issue of Agust Westland chopper deal.

The BJP will not succeed in their attempt, as they were doing it only to defame and they were not involved in it, Gehlot told reporters here.

Gehlot, here to campaign for DMK-Congress candidates, alleged that the BJP has produced a ‘fake’ degree certificate of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The issue will not end there, he said, without elaborating.

On Tamil Nadu elections, he said that the prospects of DMK-Congress were very bright in the May 16 elections.

How can the ruling party retain the power, as the chief minister, Jayalalithaa, her ministers and MLAs are inaccessible, he asked.
