Straight from wedding hall, newly-weds cast their votes

Sudha Balan is a Math faculty at Kids Club group of educational institutions. This morning, she got married to Karthikeyan, who is also from Coimbatore. Soon after their wedding rituals ended, the couple expressed their desire to cast their vote.

The Chairman of Kids Club group of educational institutions was quick to respond. “I was happy that the newly-wed couple wanted to vote. So I immediately made all arrangements and I accompanied them to the polling booth,” Mohan K. Karthik, Chairman, Kids Club group of educational institutions, said.

The chairman adds that the officials and the public at the polling station made way for the newly-weds to cast their vote. The bride and groom were still in their wedding attire!
