Coimbatore records 94.15 pass percentage

Coimbatore Revenue District registered 94.15 percent pass in the Plus Two results which were announced today.
Of the total 35,551 students from 201 schools who appeared for the exams, 33,472 were successful. From the 80 Corporation and Government Schools in the city, 8,548 students appeared for the examinations, out of which 7,415 have successfully cleared.
Tirupur saw 21,468 out of the 22,551 students from 186 schools pass the exams. In Nilgiris, of the 7,942 students, 7,250 had passed, registering 91.29 pass percentage.
Veteri selvan. S of Bharati Matriculation School in Coimbatore, secured 1,188 marks and was declared the district topper, With 1,187 marks, Sivanandhini. N of BKD School, Pollachi, stood second, and Aathmika. M of Vidya Niketan, Pollachi, was third with a score of 1,186 marks.
