DMK has, on Tuesday, elected M.K Stalin as the leader of the opposition in the newly constituted 15th Tamil Nadu assembly. Durai Murugan, the MLA elected from Katpadi, will be his deputy.
The decision was announced at the conclusion of the meeting of the newly elected DMK MLAs, held at the Anna Arivalayam, in Chennai. The meeting was presided over by party chief M Karunanidhi.
