CMCH to host Medicine-2016 expo

The officials at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) will host Medicine-2016, a medical expo inside their campus to commemorate the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Briefing media persons at the inauguration of the logo and poster of the event, Resident Medical Officer R. Soundravel, said that more than 40 stalls would be installed in the exhibition that would start on June 10.
“Students and doctors belonging to various departments from CMCH would also be displaying models of human organs and we are expecting more than 2 lakh to attend the exhibition,” he said.
He also added that the visitors would also be given health counseling by doctors in the exhibition.
“A similar expo was conducted earlier in 2002 and more than 2 lakh people had participated back then,” he informed.
The exhibition which starts on June 10 will conclude by June 25.
