Ex MLA’s house ransacked

Miscreants today ransacked the house of former AIADMK MLA, Karuppasamy, near Avinashi, Tirupur district.
The unidentified persons entered the house in Alandur and ransacked the house and attacked the inmates, including women, with iron rods. According to police, four persons sustained injuries. The attackers immediately fled the scene.
The attack is suspected to be in retaliation for the quarrel between two groups during a temple function.
