TNAU student wins silver in high jump

Selvi S Shibani, a second-year student of B.Sc. Agriculture at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has qualified for the National Athletic Championships in the high jump event.
Shibani qualified after winning the silver medal in high jump event for women, at the 89th Tamil Nadu Open State Senior Athletic Championship held at Chennai recently. She won the silver by clearing a height of 1.63 metres.
Shibani had, in the past, won gold medals in the Junior State Athletic Championships for the last three consecutive years and is entering the senior category for the first time this year.
