* All the six AIADMK candidates today filed their nominations for the coming local body polls. The party had released its list of candidates for the October 17 polls on Monday.
* More than 350 people took part in the rally organised by the Nilgiris District Hotel and Restaurant Association on the eve of International Tourism Day.
* A large number of Gomphrena Globosa flowers( Vaadamalli in Tamil) have blossomed in and around Udhagamandalam and Kothagiri bringing cheer to the growers and sellers.
