Students croon for dengue awareness

Students of SBOA Matriculation Higher Secondary School have composed a song on dengue awareness. Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Dr K Vijay Karthikeyan received the first copy of the song from the students at the corporation office.
Abhinaya of Class 10 and her friend Kalyani of Class 8 wrote the lyrics, composed music and sang the song.
While the City Corporation has been taking several precautionary steps to curb mosquitoes and to keep the city clean, several dengue awareness campaigns have also been taking place in tandem across the city.
The Commissioner has asked for the song CDs to be distributed to all the schools in the city.
