Youngsters are now evincing more and more interest in politics, thanks to their involvement in social media. This has to gradually pave way for the entry of youth into active politics, said author Ravinder Singh.

Addressing a group of young readers at the Odyssey Book Store in Brooke Fields Mall while launching his new book This Love That Feels Right, he said extra marital affairs, which he has elaborately discussed in his book, should not be brushed under the rugs. “A healthy discussion on adultery is pertinent in today’s fast pacing society”, he opined.

“In today’s world, it is becoming difficult to live with one person forever. People indulge in adultery. An affair which is considered immoral is a taboo even on discussion forums. No one wants to talk about it openly. This should change. A couple should have an open discussion and reach an understanding,” he said.

When asked about the reason behind choosing such a topic, Ravinder said he struck upon this idea while he was chatting with his friends one day. “In fact nobody cringed, it was an open discussion and even my wife threw in her views on the much detested topic of infidelity,” he said and added that he was overwhelmed at the response his book has received from the public.

He later signed the books and took pictures with his readers.
