DGP reviews law and order situation

Tamil Nadu DGP TK Rajendran today reviewed the law and order situation in the western districts with senior police officials.
The possible infiltration of Naxals from neighbouring states and security on the border areas also came up during the discussion, police sources said.
West Zone IG A Pari, City Police Commissioner A Amalraj and senior officials from Salem, Tiruppur, Erode, Nilgiris, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Namakkal districts participated in the review meeting.
