Shruti Haasan files complaint against cyber stalker

Chennai: Actress Shruti Haasan has lodged a petition with the Cyber Crime branch of the city police alleging harassment by a doctor, identified as Dr K G Guruprasad, based in Karnataka, who has been stalking her on Twitter.

In her complaint, Shruti said that he had used abusive language and also made threats to her life. The complaint was lodged at the Cyber Crime grievance cell at the City Police Commissioner’s Office through her agent Praveen Antony.

Shruti sought action against the cyber stalker who sent her abusive and derogatory messages via Twitter to her personal Twitter handle @shrutihaasan from September 7, 2016 onwards. The stalker allegedly made wild accusations about her character and commented on her personal life.
