Adding one more feather in its cap, Shivanjali Trust has opened an “Aroma Centre” at Lavanya Craft Shop at Thillai Nagar. This centre will be a one-stop-shop for buying authentic herbal products and to consult trained naturopaths to get treated through effective aromatherapy. The centre has a holistic approach to women’s well-being as it not only cares for the physical aspect but also helps in dealing with psychological, social and economic issues which lead to health problems.

Shivanjali Trust has been working for the empowerment of underprivileged women by helping them learn different skills and hiring them at their units, namely Lavanya Craft Shop, Aroma Centre, Shivanjali Sweets and Annalakshmi.

Talking about Aroma Centre, Nirmala Ramesh, Administrative officer, Shivanjali Trust, said, “This unit has been opened with the motive of raising funds for the trust, which we will get by selling our products and services. In this way we will be able to serve women belonging to different social strata.”
