Woman cop attempts suicide

A woman constable attached to armed reserve police attempted to commit suicide by hanging herself at her house here reportedly due to family problem.
Suganya, 30, residing at police quarters located opposite to Tamil University and working as writer, hanged herself from a ceiling fan at her house on Tuesday evening. She was, however, rescued by her neighbours. She was admitted to a private hospital.
Tamil University police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
