Middleman Sukesh’s custody extended

The middle man, Sukesh Chandrasekhar was brought from Tihar Jail in Delhi and produced before a Judicial Magistrate Court here today in connection with cheating a kitchen equipment dealer in the city some seven years ago.

The dealer Rajavelu has lodged a complaint that Sukesh has cheated him Rs.2.50 lakh on the promise of getting tender from Karnataka government in 2010. Sukesh and his father Chandrasekhar were arrested in the case
and were on bail.

As they failed to appear before the court on hearing date, IInd Judicial Magistrate had issued arrest warrant on Sukesh, who meanwhile was arrested in connection with Two Leaves symbol case and lodged in the Tihar Jail.

Learning about the case, Delhi police brought him on May eight and produced him before the court on June eight and was asked to appear today.

Accordingly Delhi police brought him this morning and produced before the Magistrate, who posted the case for July six.

Sukesh is being taken to Delhi via Kochi.
