Brightline™ Initiative announced the launch of a new online course, Turning Ideas into Results: Bridging the Gap between Strategy Design and Delivery. This course is provided in partnership with the leading online learning platform, Coursera. The course puts the power of idea implementation and strategy execution in the hands of senior executives so they are able to better bridge the costly gap between strategy design and delivery.
“Our aim with this course was to share Brightline’s 10 Guiding Principles to a larger executive audience, and deliver it in an engaging and impactful way,” said Ricardo Vargas, Executive Director, Brightline Initiative. “It’s important that senior leadership and the C-suite audience understand the problem with strategy today and for us to provide guidance on how best to approach the implementation-gap in daily practice.”
This free online course, offers a holistic view of how to transform strategic intentions into reality from the perspective of senior executives. Over the course of five weeks, Brightline connects the 10 Guiding Principles to the learners via the course’s self-reflecting assessments, discussion-based exercises, case studies, and insights from world-leading experts and practitioners in the field of strategy. For a limited time, through the partnership with Coursera, Brightline is offering vouchers for the free course.
“At Coursera, we help learners acquire the high-demand skills they need to perform both the jobs of today and of the future. The strategy design and delivery skills taught in Brightline's course are both useful for the leaders of today and will see increased demand as more companies look for the strategic leadership skills to transition their companies to the future of work," said Kevin McFarland, Head of Industry Partnerships, Coursera. “As such, we are thrilled to be joining forces with Brightline to make these valuable strategy skills accessible to leaders around the world."
