25-day entrepreneurship development programme for women from Jan 3

As a step towards empowering women, a 25-day ‘Entrepreneurship Development Programme‘ exclusively for women will be conducted at the PSG College of Arts and Science, Avinashi Road.
Coordinated by the women’s arm of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and sponsored by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Implemented by Electronic Data Interchange ( EDI), Ahmedabad, the programme will begin on January 3.
Interested women who wish to participate can apply before December 31. The applicants should be between 18 and 40 years of age with a bachelors degree in science, or B.Tech or BE or technical diploma.
The participants will gain knowledge about current scenario of entrepreneurship, the schemes of financial assistance, project selection, feasibility and how to prepare project report, market survey, business management aspects and formalities related to taxation, said a press release.
The classes will be conducted between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
