Three persons were arrested in Tirupur today for illegal possession of venison.
Based on a tip off police raided a house and recovered the venison hidden there.
Three persons – Maniyan, Venkatesh and Saravanan were taken into custody for questioning. Later they were handed over to the Forest Department officials.
Police are on look out for Ravikumar, son of Maniyan, and two of his accomplices in connection with the seizure.
