39-year-old killed in road accident

A 39-year-old man was killed in a road accident after his motorcycle skidded and fell, on Wednesday.

According to police, the deceased, V. Ramalingam, was an employee of a private company. He was a resident of Madukkarai.

On Wednesday, he was thrown off his two-wheeler near Kulathupalayam when he attempted to negotiate a speed-breaker while riding above the permissible speed limits. He sustained grave head injuries and severe bleeding injuries all over his body.

He was immediately rushed to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH), but it was too late. He was pronounced brought dead by the doctors.

A case has been registered with the West traffic wing police and investigations are on.
