5 spotted deer run over on NH

Tirupur: Five spotted deer were found dead today on the Salem-Kochi Highway near Avanashi in Tirupur district.
It is believed that some unidentified vehicle must have hit and run over the animals which came in search of water in the early hours, police said.
Deer generally come to Vannathankarai pond at Thekkalur for drinking water and investigation was on, they said.
