ADMK loyalist offers autorickshaw ride for Re.1!

In addition to all the welfare schemes promised by the newly-formed government, Coimbatoreans are in for a special treat. An auto-rickshaw driver has now offered auto rides for Re.1!
The idea came to R. M. Mathivannan, the auto-rickshaw driver from Singanallur in Coimbatore, after his political icon and AIADMK supremo J. Jayalalithaa was reelected for the sixth time as the Chief Minister of the state.
“I have been working for the party for 40 years. I’m also a huge supporter of Amma. This is what I could do on the day she is being sworn in as the Chief Minister for the second consecutive time. Customers can travel anywhere in Coimbatore at a cost of Re.1 starting from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm,” he said.
He further added that he had made more than 50 rides until noon on Monday, adding that he was expecting 150 more customers today.
Meanwhile, the AIADMK cadre celebrated in various parts of the city after Jayalalithaa took oath as the Chief Minister.
