Addressing the rally in Coimbatore city while canvassing for the party’s candidates from the district, Tirupur, and the Nilgiris, Jayalalithaa said that efforts will be taken to develop Idukki, a major tourist centre.

She said that if the AIADMK candidates are elected in Kerala, the party will see to it that all the tea estate workers in Devikulam are given the social security scheme cover, and promised that rope-ways will be set up in Munnar, another major tourist spot in the state.
