Arm bowling competition begins on February 20

Hundreds of amateur bowlers are expected to participate in the MoneyGram Golden Arm Bowling Challenge, which kicks off in Coimbatore from February 20 onwards.

The bowler with the fastest delivery will be adjudged as the winner from Coimbatore, in the two-day challenge. The winner gets a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.

The winner of Coimbatore will be recorded for the fastest delivery bowled not only within Tamil Nadu but also for 50 other cities across India. The top four fastest bowlers will receive tickets to watch the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 match.

The Golden Arm Bowling Challenge, which recently concluded in Chennai, will travel to Pondicherry next. The tournament will then head to Uttar Pradesh and Telangana. The MoneyGram Golden Arm Bowling Challenge is being conducted in Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Bihar, Kerala and Gujarat.
