Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) president Arjun Sampath today suggested that the Indian military should enter into Pakistan and, on the lines of the US strike on Osama Bin Laden, eliminate underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, who is reportedly hiding there.
Welcoming the surgical strike conducted by the Army in Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to destroy terrorist camps, Sampath told reporters here that the Army should enter the neighbouring country and finish Dawood, who is residing there and creating problems for India.
The government should also take immediate steps to retrieve PoK, which is becoming a breeding ground for Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, he said.
Arjun criticised former Prime Minister Deve Gowda for sitting on fast against the Supreme Court order for releasing water to Tamil Nadu from Cauvery.
The Centre was remaining a mute spectator on the matter, as Karnataka was refusing to abide by the Apex Court order and release water, he said.
His party will organise a one day hunger strike at Hosur, on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border, on October 5, to support the Lorry Owners’ Association for their demand for resuming traffic between the two states, Sampath said.
