Basket Ball: Vijaya Bank beat Arise BBC

Vijaya Bank defeated Arise BBC 92-66 and Sport Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) beat KSEB 88-70 on the third day of the 52nd All India Basket Ball Championship for the PSG Trophy for men, here.

Leading 47-41 at the half time, Vijaya Bank surged ahead to defeat the Arise by a convincing margin.

Anilkumar scored 16 and Mufeez Ahamed 17 for the winners, while for Arise BCC Vijayabhaskar and Aadav Arjuna potted 12 and eight respectively.

In the second match, SDAT led 48-42 at the half time and went on to win by 18 points.

Justin Gnanaraj potted 34 points, Karthick 19 for SDAT, while Sreerag N Nair scored 22 and Nithil Paul 12 for KSEB.
