Brain dead 8year Girl gives life to 7 persons

The deceased Miss.S.Venbha Age 8, survived by his Father Mr.T.Santhosh – Chairman, Town Planning Coimbatore Corporation & 73 Ward Councilor, Mother Mrs.Suganya living at Coimbatore City. Fell unconscious on 23rd of February 2026 due to high blood pressure and brain hemorrhage. Immediately she was taken to nearby private hospital for first aid treatment, then after to KMCH Avanashi Road Coimbatore, for specialized treatment. During the treatment she didn’t responded much and declared brain dead on 25.02.2026. The family stood clueless and his Father Mr.T.Santhosh & Mother Mrs.Suganya came forward generously to donate Miss.S.Venbha ’s organs.

Multi Organ Transplant Surgeons and team harvested Liver, Kidneys, Eyes, Bone and Skin from the body of the deceased in accordance with the regulations prescribed by the Transplant Authority, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. The harvested organs i.e. Liver & One Kidney were transplanted at KMCH, One Kidney, Eyes, Bone and Skin was sent to Private Hospital at Coimbatore, The family members felt proud that her organs gave new lease of lives to 7 needy people.

In honouring their gesture, Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH thanked the family for their bold and timely decision on organ donation. He added that this act of generosity will bring in more awareness towards this Nobel cause.
