Burglars decamp with 70 sovereign gold

Burglars broker open the house of a transport official and decamped with 70 sovereign gold and Rs. 38,000 cash.
The official, Dhandapani, was away to Sathyamangalam on Thursday night with his family. When he returned on Friday night, he noticed the front door open and almirah broken and valuables missing.
Based on a complaint, police have filed a case. A special team has been formed to nab the culprits.
